About the Festival

Approximately 100 volunteers are needed each day to help run the Festival. Approximately 900 students from Grades 2 to 5 will attend each day of the Festival from the City and County of Peterborough. They will participate in 35 activities challenging them to consider the importance of water.

What Does a Volunteer Do?

As a volunteer, you can help run the activities, greet students and teachers when they arrive, direct groups, and assist Riverview Park and Zoo staff keep the grounds clean and safe. All volunteers are provided with the materials and information needed for their roles.

Volunteers are expected to make a one-day commitment from 8 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. on their scheduled day. You may volunteer for more than one day if you wish.
